Preparing for Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite American holidays. Unlike so many other American holidays, it reminds me of a holiday at home: a time for family, for friendship, for getting together, and, of course, for good food. That is the way we celebrate it in SPP. On Friday, November 16th, at 12pm, we are going to have a pot luck lunch. Parents are invited to bring their favorite dish (please include a card with ingredients, for our special diet persons); we will have holiday theme decorations; and children will prepare their own dishes. MWF will prepare a fruit salad from fruit they will find in the market on their field trip; and the TTH class will prepare a "Stone Soup" after reading the book by that name. I am looking forward to seeing everyone there!
